50 Cents Turns Boxing Promoter

Rapper 50 cents can now add the title of boxing promoter to his credentials as he successful promoted Former Cuban Olympic gold medalist Yuriorkis Gamboa.

Yuriorkis won his fight against Michael Farenas (22-0) which took place on Saturday.

50 Cent, who got his Nevada promoter's license last month, reportedly paid $1 million for the contract to promote Gamboa.

Before the fight, 50 cents was lowered into the ring from the rafters of the MGM Grand arena as he rapped one of his songs.
