According to an article on their site, Folorunsho is worth $6.44B (N1,013,012,000,000) .
Even if you slash her estimated earnings by half, bringing it down to $3.2 billion, she is still richer than the $2.7 billion Oprah Winfrey is worth according to Forbes Magazine’s last rankings.

Folorunsho Alakija also has a real estate portfolio worth over $100 million. Earlier this year, Nigerian and British media announced that Alakija acquired a property at One Hyde Park for $102 million. See media coverage here and here
A source at Famfa Oil who asked for anonymity indeed confirmed that Mrs. Alakija actually acquired the property at One Hyde Park.

This is wonderful. But I still doubt the accuracy of dis report. How can a Nigerian woman be richer than Oprah? What happened to other American or British women? Richest in Africa, I would agree, but in d world...abeg leave matter for tortoise jare!!

This woman I can even manage, what d heck was TY Danjuma looking 4 on Forbes list? I'm beginning 2 loose respect for Forbes if they are going 2 start celebrating dictators and criminals.
