Meet The Youngest Oscar Awards Nominee In The Best Actress Category Ever

Her name is Quvenzhané Wallis and she starred as Hush Puppy in the movie 'Beasts of the Southern Wild' .

The 9 year old actress was nominated in the "Best Actress in a Leading Role" for her role in the movie making her the youngest Oscar nominee in that category in the history of the awards.

WhileWallis is the youngest ever Best Actress nominee, Jackie Cooper still holds the record for the youngest Oscar nominee ever at age eight, in the Supporting Actor category for Kramer vs. Kramer.

Meanwhile10 year old Tatum O'Neal is the youngest Ocar winner in history, followed by star of True Blood  Anna Paquin who won it  at age nine for her role in The Piano, for which she picked up a Best Actress in a Supporting Role category in 1994.

Even though she does not win the award, being nominated at such an early age is a huge honour!!
