Four killed as police try to detonate retrieved bombs

An explosion yesterday rocked a police station killing 4 people in the process. The bombs which are believed to have been retrieved from Boko Haram exploded accidentally at at the Police Anti-bomb Squad Office in Jimeta, Yola, Adamawa State.

The explosion which affected nearby buildings including Jimeta Primary School , old NITEL building and Post Office also left several people injured. The people in the neighborhood are said to have fled their homes as it is feared that other bombs might still go off.
