Younger people and more women occupy seats in France’s parliament

It seems the youthful, political energy of France’s president, Emmanuel Macron is spreading across France. The average age of law makers dropped from 54 to 48.The youngest lawmaker is 23 years old.

While Macron’s REM won 308 seats in the 577, the number of women in parliament is 244…..the highest ever in the history of France. All these achievements in parliament have solidified the achievements of Macron’s REM party……which is just 14 years old.

Waiting for when all these will play out in our political arena down here.
