Ex. Gov Turaki arrested at Book Launch over N36B Fraud

One of the hottest gists right now is how the former governor of Jigawa State, Gov. Turaki, was arrested by men from EFCC at a book launch in Abuja yesterday, over allegations of financial mismanagement to the tune of N36B among others.
According to the story, the governor who was declared wanted by the police has been a fugitive for 3 years.
He was to stand trial before the Federal High Court, Dutse, in 2011 on a 36-count charge. According to the agency, the court had issued a warrant directing the Inspector General of Police or his officers, and EFCC to arrest the former governor. He had allegedly been on the run since then until the agents arrested him yesterday.
This is not the first time the agency has attempted arresting him. Men from EFCC, tried arresting him last year, May 19, 2016, at his  16 Denis Osadebey Street, Asokoro, home but he escaped.

The governor who loves the exotic life was spotted with some pet leopards in his home last year. Check them out after the jump
