Traffic offenders to Undergo Psychological Evaluation in Edo State

Edo State governor, Gov. Obaseki, has revealed that traffic offenders will go for psychological evaluation to determine their level of sanity. He
made the revelation when disclosed this when members of the Edo State chapter of the Catholic Counseling and Education Center (CCEC) paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House in Benin City.

He revealed the test will come just before they are handed to government agencies for prosecution. They will then be made to pay the appropriate fines. The traffic officers would be deployed to streets later this month.
“l am going to hand you over to my Chief of Staff who will make the appointment with the management of the Edo State Traffic Management Agency so that you can work with them and agree on areas you can assist the people who are currently undergoing training and, to come up with a plan for the center and the type of psychological test we are going to administer and how they are going to pay for it.”
With this, Edo State joins Lagos State which made the decree that was made a while back.
